Lady of Mann (2) alongside at Fleetwood after a day excursion to Douglas. There was usually a quick turaround when the ship arrived at Fleetwood. As soon as the last passengers had disembarked the ship gave a blast on her horn and cast off. There was just enough time to run down to the beach and set up the camcorder before she came speeding past. Once down the channel the deck lights went out and all you could hear was the throbbing of the diesel engines. (Photograph: © Dave Worth)
